How's training going?

1:
Well, would you like to hear an example of me sucking at life?

2:
What?

1:
Day 1 of training.
- Get there meet my manager shake his hand
- Am told to take a seat and fill out a form
- I sit in the front row (I know)
- A bit later, a pretty good-looking guy, around our age, walks in. He also happens to be well dressed in a sort of “I’m dressed for the occasion but I still can add my own personal flair.”
- He comes in and sits right beside me.
- This is good in my mind.
- Everyone is filling out forms so I decide that chatting is not a good idea
- During break times he wanders off so chatting is not an option then.
- During break times I chat with some Filipino girls and we bond over our Pinoyness
- I’m in a group with the PGLG (pretty good-looking guy) beside me and the guy beside him for a role-playing exercise
- PGLG is holding a script so I can clearly see his hand, and I notice that the tips of his left hand fingers are sort of peely and rough.
- After the exercise I muster up the courage to go “Oh hey this is really random but do you happen to play the guitar?”
- He says yes
- “Yeah I noticed your fingertips are all calloused.” I hold up my hand to display mine are too.
- “Oh cool.”
- Before I can mention something guitar-related he sort of drifts off and any potential interaction ends.

2:
